A week from now I will be attending my very first Pacific Regional Conference (PRC). I know I will see some of you there, perhaps meeting for the first time!

Calling all new and prospective members: we will be hosting our next Taste of SMPS on Tuesday, February 8, from 12:00 to 12:45PM. This is a great opportunity to learn about what SMPS and the San Francisco chapter has to offer. Plus, as of January 1 this year, HQ is giving all new members a complimentary Launch into Learning bundle, valued at over $750, which includes two Marketer Must-Reads, two on-demand webinars (chosen from a list of five), and the A/E/Course: Elements of Design.
Did you know that over 60% of our chapter revenue comes from sponsorships? Sponsors are the lifeblood of our chapter. Can your firm join our sponsor roster? Sponsors get perks in return such as free unlimited registration to all of our virtual education programs, including our upcoming one this month.
Our January program, The Path To Leadership: What I Wish I Knew 10 Years Ago, is just the kind of program we need to help kick off 2022 with inspiration and setting goals. I certainly need this as I embark on my main goal as Chapter President.
I aim to have a Chapter Awards Night this June. We’ve hosted Awards Night sporadically in the past as Founders Awards, but we’re looking for a new name and designating a Special Events Committee to make sure it’s held annually. Any suggestions or want to help us plan the event? The planning team had our first meeting this week, so this is a great time to jump in.
