Member Spotlight: Rebecca Anicich
Each month we try to feature a Chapter member, asking them about SMPS and more. Find out below how Rebecca got into the A/E/C industry and other items of interest!
What led you to the A/E/C industry?
It was a total accident. I didn’t know what I wanted to do after graduating from college, and I received two admin job offers. One was with AIG and one was with Michael Willis Architects. Architecture seemed more interesting than insurance!
Why did you join SMPS and/or why do you continue to be a member?
As soon as I took my first marketing position with Architectural Resources Group, my manager signed me up for the Marketing Coordinator’s Workshop and I joined SMPS.
What’s your favorite memory of an SMPS event?
My first SMPS National Conference, outside of Phoenix, and dancing with Lief Kaiper, Julie Satterwhite, and Elaine Moal in Scottsdale, Arizona (we were very young).
