Sponsor Spotlight: SC Builders
I recently had a chance to touch base with Aidan Sinclair, Marketing Manager at SC Builders, and ask him a few questions about his firm, which is one of our Redwood sponsors.
Tell us about your firm and services.

Tell us about some notable projects.
A recent project is the Lawrence Station Development in Santa Clara, CA. This Class A, ground-up office building is located within Santa Clara’s rapidly developing Lawrence Station Area Plan. The five-story core and shell building on Kifer will total over 175,000 square feet. In addition to typical office spaces, features of this office building include expansive balconies and outdoor amenity space, three elevators, three sets of stairs, 61 underground parking stalls, and sitework. The building will add to the transformation of an underutilized industrial area into a pedestrian-friendly and transit-oriented development, contributing to a more vibrant and livable community. As part of this project for BDG, SC Builders recently finished building a neighboring five-story parking garage. Totaling over 287,135 gross square feet it features precast concrete, two stair towers, two elevators, and 916 parking stalls.

What differentiates your firm in terms of approach, talent, tools, and values?
We pride ourselves on being financially strong with a bonding capacity of $200 million for single projects and a $300 million aggregate. From this position of strength, we make sound business decisions, invest in our people and our company, and weather economic cycles. We hire and retain only the top 20% of industry professionals, and we challenge them to learn new skills while they sharpen existing ones. Our “can-do” attitude makes us proactive problem solvers. We encourage “out of the box” thinking, including ways to improve and grow individually and as a company. We look forward to pursuing opportunities in new markets and new locations. We expect each team member to always make a positive difference within SC Builders, and to leverage our resources to better our lives and the community.
