Winners' Circle

During our Topaz Awards Night on June 23, we recognized the following members for their achievements in our industry: Myrna Wagner, FSMPS, CPSM with the William B. Hankinson Lifetime Achievement Award; Kate Albee with Sandy D’elia Marketer of the Year Award; Ava Cunningham with Catherine F. Spurlock Volunteer of the Year Award; and Sam Mullin with the Rising Star Award.

We also recognized local A/E/C firms for excellence in marketing and communications. "Award of Excellence" is the highest recognition, followed by the "Award of Merit." Our judges' panel, comprised of seasoned SMPS members from chapters nationwide, selected one entry as "Best in Show," while "People's Choice" garnered the most votes by Topaz Awards Night attendees. New this year to the awards program was the Small Business Award, granted to a certified disadvantaged business, submitting an award-winning entry.
