Tell us about your firm and services.
Founded in 1982 as O’Connor Estimating Services, O’Connor Construction Management, Inc. (OCMI) is now a full-service firm that leads the way in estimating, project controls, and construction management solutions. OCMI customizes our approach and services to meet the needs of a diverse group of clients and projects of any size across the country. We are also a certified DVBE and SDVOSB business.
Through our O’C Insight platform, OCMI delivers an all-encompassing menu of in-house solutions, from cost and schedule control to construction and project management. Services under the O’C Insight umbrella bring together the best of OCMI: expert staff, knowledge sharing, and an out-of-the-box approach. Our robust team, including cost estimators, schedulers, and project and construction managers, support each other with their expertise.

What can you tell us about your projects?
OCMI’s cost-estimating work is up over 50% and we are working on a record number of projects. From government jobs, student housing, stadiums, and water infrastructure, it is an exciting time to be working on some very large programs and projects that go up to $3 billion.

As an organization, our offices have participated in local and national events for as long as I’ve been a member. I still remember my first major event at the Marketing Coordinator Bootcamp, where I got the best crash course in the industry and proposals 101.
