Welcome President-Elect Marilynn Stratton!

I am happy to announce a new addition to our SMPS SFBAC leadership team! Please join me in welcoming Marilynn Stratton, CPSM, as our new President-Elect. Marilynn brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and fresh perspective to our Board, and we are fortunate to have her stepping into this critical leadership role.

Marilynn was recognized as our Chapter’s Marketer of the Year in 2023, served as Programs Director during the 2024-25 term, and currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Kier+Wright. Marilynn possesses the enthusiasm, leadership, and commitment needed to learn the many processes and procedures of running our local Chapter over the next five months as she prepares to assume the role of Chapter President on September 1. Her passion for professional development and our A/E/C community make her an excellent fit to guide our Chapter forward.

We are currently seeking nominations for our 2025–26 Board of Directors, who will work alongside Marilynn throughout her term. The Chapter invites members to nominate themselves or others for open leadership roles and help to shape our Chapter's future.

Next week, Marilynn will attend the SMPS Chapter Leader's Symposium, where she will connect with other incoming Chapter Presidents, exchange ideas, and receive valuable training to support her transition into this important position. Her participation in this yearly Symposium reflects her dedication to ensuring our Chapter continues delivering value to our members, sponsors, and the community overall.
