Notable Projects
A few notable projects include…
Facebook MPK 22 + Park
K+W partnered with Meta, Truebeck Construction, and Gehry Partners on this award-winning project to bring Facebook’s West Campus expansion to life in Menlo Park. This dynamic development transformed a 457,000-square-foot office building and introduced a pedestrian sky walkway, an eight-story parking garage, and a newly designed public park, all while seamlessly managing off-site infrastructure enhancements. K+W was pivotal in keeping the MPK 21 campus fully operational during the MPK 22 construction, setting the stage for Facebook’s next chapter of growth.

Pathline Park
At Pathline Park, K+W has created an award-winning project that blurs the line between built and natural environments. Spanning 50 acres, this serene site incorporates preserved trees, winding pathways, and gathering spaces that blend organically with the landscape. Pathline Park’s design isn’t just beautiful—it’s a peaceful retreat that brings harmony between nature and the surrounding urban area, offering a restorative experience to all who visit.

NVIDIA Campus
For NVIDIA’s Santa Clara headquarters, K+W contributed to this national award-winning project by developing a visionary 36-acre campus that combines future-ready design with sustainable features. This phased redevelopment fosters collaboration with open spaces both inside and out, prioritizing employee wellness and environmental responsibility. NVIDIA’s campus stands as a model for how thoughtful design can inspire innovation and support a vibrant, connected workforce.

Kaiser Permanente Medical Center
K+W partnered with Kaiser Permanente on the new Berkeley Medical Center, a $98-million, next-generation facility that enhances local healthcare access for 58,000 members. The three-story, 66,000-square-foot center features 70 exam rooms, underground visitor parking, secured employee parking with EV spaces, and stormwater treatment using pervious pavers. The project also includes 1,000 linear feet of offsite improvements to support surrounding neighborhood infrastructure. With thoughtful design, K+W helped integrate the medical center into the local community, featuring retail spaces, 46 bike parking spots, and a 330-foot mural by local artist Desi Mundo. The new Berkeley Medical Center is set to enhance healthcare access for Kaiser’s 58,000 members in the area, benefiting the community for years to come.
International Park of Commerce
K+W plays a key role in the ongoing development of the 3,200-acre International Park of Commerce (IPC) in Tracy, California, one of the state’s largest industrial parks. Over the past 12 years, IPC has transformed the city's economic landscape, and K+W has been integral to this growth by providing land use planning, infrastructure master plans, and subdivision mapping. K+W has prepared over $130 million in public infrastructure plans and designed nearly 10 million square feet of industrial space, including roads, water lines, storm drainage systems, and bridges. The park hosts major facilities like Amazon, Medline, and Smucker’s, driving regional development.
